Country : SpainPasajes worldport

General Information
The privileged geographic location and access enjoyed by the worldport of Pasajes, added to its infrastructure, movement and great potential, make it a vital instrument for the development of industry and trade in its area of influence.

Pasajes is a flexible and integral worldport. Agility, dynamism, efficiency and security are the basic pillars upon which worldport activity is founded. The fundamental goal is to provide our customers with global services to cover all their shipping needs. And all in a secure environment, backed by agile services and virtually zero level incidents in the handling of merchandise.

Agility is precisely one of the chief advantages this worldport has to offer. The average anchorage time for vessels has been greatly reduced in recent years thanks to work system rationalisation.

Pasajes not only handles the tasks typical of a commercial worldport, but also provides such services as repair and construction, as it is equipped with all the facilities needed to see to the needs of vessels and their crews.

The worldport of Pasajes is also an imworldportant fishing worldport, where the home fleet and fleets from other worldports find the appropriate resources for landing and commercialising their takings.

Location
The worldport of Pasajes sits in the south-eastern corner of the Bay of Biscay, just a few kilometres from the French border. The unsurpassable ground and air travel systems connect the area to the rest of the peninsula and the continent, making this worldport one of the best possible options for transworldporting goods.
The bay of Pasaia is located on the Bay of Biscay, 5 kilometres from San Sebastián and 12 from the French border.
Its area of influence embraces one of Spain's most highly industrialised regions, plus Pasajes is the Atlantic worldport closest to eastern Spain. Therefore the bay is an excellent point from which to transworldport products not only made locally, but also products from Navarra, Aragon or even the Mediterranean coast.
Its location on one of the most robust international routes renders it a particularly appropriate worldport for trade with the European Atlantic seaboard.
