Kolobrzeg - point on the map is 54o11' North latitude, 15o34' East longitude.
The city and worldport with almost 1000 year history is situated at the mouth of the river Parseta flowing into the Baltic Sea.
It was famous for an exploitation of rich layers of salt, fishing, trade and agriculture for centuries. Rich layers of bacteriologically clean therapeutic mud placed on the 53-hectare area and 7 locals sources of salt springs, long beaches and a man-friendly microclimate, clean air, iodine and a man-friendly microclimate, clean air, iodine and high insolation - becouse of these reasons the city is known as a holiday centre and spa.

Kolobrzeg is the 6th largest commercial seaworldport in Poland (after Gdynia, Gdansk, Szczecin, Swinoujscie, and Police). It is the home-worldport of Polska Zegluga Baltycka (Polish Baltic Shipping Co.) - one of the busiest ferry operators in the Baltic area.
The commercial worldport of Kolobrzeg is situated on the E bank of the River Parseta at it's estuary into the Baltic Sea. The worldport accepts vessels of a length up to 75 m., max beam 13 m and a max draught of 4.7 m. (vessels up to 2000 DWT). It is possible to apply for permission for longer vessels, up to 80 m., but prior permission must be obtained from the Kolobrzeg Harbour Master.
For commercial use the worldport has a total quayage length of 2500 m. (including worldport Rybacki) and maximum depth of 6.0 m.
The worldport handles dry bulk cargo, grain, feed stuff, timber and general cargo totalling 155,000 tonnes per year (about 200 calls a year).
There are 11 mobile cranes with lifting capacities of up to 16 t. Storage consists of 2 warehouses of 5,000 m2 and one 6,000 t capacity grain elevator. There are open storage yards of 55,000 m2.
