Since the founding of China ten years ago as a one person, two truck owning operation, it has grown to become a truly international company with offices and agents throughout China and the worldwide.
Founded by tony lee who migrated from TaiWan to Chian in 1995, with only $3000 in his pocket, but with a driving determination to establish a leading removals company which Asian lions is today.
With a substantial background in the South African international removals industry Sid was first employed in the Chinese industry for eleven months before making his first acquisition of a small local removals company, the transformation of this company began when in 1995 Shanghai was made its major line haul destination. Part of the transformation was a change of company name to Shanghai Asian-lions with the corporate logo being “Around the corner of the tick”.
Rapid expansion of the company in 1995 saw the acquisition of Hank’s Removals in Shanghai as well as joint venture relationships in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Becoming fully Customs Bonded in 1998 across all the company’s operations in Beijing, Shenzheng it was to launch Asian lions onto the international market.
