Apart to be a leading integrated logistics service provider in the region, we aim to be a sizeable integrated producer of biodiesel through the development and own growth of feedstock supply to our own biodiesel refineries located in Asia.

Milestones
2009 - GKE (Shanghai) Metal Logistics Co. Ltd was incorporated under a joint venture in November 2009 to expand our metal logistics business in China. GKE holds a 65% stake in the joint venture.
GKE Warehouse is building a new four storey warehouse cum seven storey office complex at 30 Pioneer Road. It is built on site area of 18,653 sq meters with a total floor area of 26,112 sq meters. It is expected to be operational by September 2010.
Acquired 51% stakes in Shenyang China Starzyme Co., Ltd (SCS). SCS wholly own a large size Fermentation Factory in Chaoyang in the Liaoning Province in China which produces Enzymes through a low cost, high tech, high volume Fermentation Process.
2008 - Acquired Van der Horst Biodiesel, leader in the biodiesel industry to provide sustainable and renewable fuel and at the same time, participate in the reduction of Global Warming. On 3 March 2008, we changed name from GKE International Limited to Van der Horst Energy Limited
On 3 March 2008, the name of the holding company, GKE International Limited was changed to Van der Horst Energy Limited
2007 - Entered into a Shares and Option agreement with Mr Kwan Chee Seng and also Sale & purchase agreement to purchase 100% of Van der Horst Biodiesel
2005 - GKE Express Logistics (formally known as International Concept Forwarding) is to focus in transportation and project cargo management handling Out-of-Gauge (OOG) cargo
2004 - GKE Freight was formed to focus on Sea freight & Air freight.
2003 - GKE International Limited achieved its public listed status and since then our shares have been quoted on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
2002 - Company's name changed to GKE International Ltd to better reflect the group's business and future strategy.
2001 - Sungei Kadut warehouse acquired increasing the total land area owned by GKE to 39,314 sq meters and a built-in area of 17,944 sq meters.
2000 - Acquired Mac-Nels warehousing (renamed as GKE Metal Logistics), a LME Approved Warehouse Company
1998 - GKE Warehousing and Logistics was established to provide general logistics services.
1997 - GKE's warehouse at No. 1 Jln Besut was listed as a warehouse approved by the London Metal Exchange ("LME").
1995 - Our founder Mr Neo Kok Ching started business as provider for warehousing services
